O melhor lado da Top 3 Automatic Vacuum Cleaners
This isn’t the fanciest robot vacuum we've tested, so if you want one that has voice control, a self-emptying system or programmed no-go zones, scroll on. However, for cleaning prowess, it couldn’t be beaten; it scored full marks for its quick and efficient dust pick-up on all surfaces and for excellent pet hair removal.
Its tech was pretty good though; the robot moved in a coordinated way, there are anti-fall sensors, the app was straightforward to navigate, and it mapped our room quickly. It’s a simple yet effective buy.
The Tapo RV30 is also quieter than most, particularly when on the weakest setting. Noise isn’t a concern if you set your vacuum to do its thing while you’re out of the house, but a less cacophonous vacuum should benefit those who spend more time at home.
The mopping function is excellent. It doesn’t just swish a mop pad around on the floor, it actually scrubs the floorboards, helping get rid of dried coffee stains.
The standout feature on the J20 is an innovative mop pad, set on a roller like the wheels of a tank, which works extremely well. It's very much a premium option, but the performance is excellent.
Given robot vacuums are best at keeping on top of mess rather than deep cleans, we don't see this as a big issue though. Plus, its mopping was excellent.
A robot vacuum cleaner may not sound like a household staple, but while it won’t replace the best vacuum cleaner in terms of power and ability, having one can drastically reduce your workload around the house. And we're all for that.
Of course, a robot vacuum like this doesn’t come cheap. However, if you have the money to spend and you want a tech-savvy device, this has a lot of clever features.
If non-e of the robot vacuums above take your fancy, here are some other models worth considering. These robovacs all scored highly on test, but just didn't quite make our main guide.
You can also opt for a robot vacuum, which does the cleaning for you and goes back to recharge on its own when it’s time, but the charging base must remain connected to a power outlet and should not be moved so the robot knows how to get back to it after cleaning.
The Top 3 Automatic Vacuum Cleaners robot even sends you pictures of anything it’s avoided, so you can clear the space and send it around again (or, if you’re lazy, like us, dismiss the notification and promise you’ll get around to it later).
This one had us at retractable legs. A robot vacuum and mop that can clamber over obstacles really is a game-changer. Little steps though – this one can only manage obstacles up to 6cm, so think carpet strips rather than stairs.
We test fine dirt pickup by sprinkling a mix of flour and cookie crumbs on the floor, and large debris pickup using oats.
One thing to be aware of is that this robovac doesn't actually self-empty dust; there's pelo dock dustbin. Instead, the onboard dustin compresses its contents so it can hold more – Narwal claims up to seven week's worth of debris.
